Walmart announces details of its Black Friday event for a month

Black Friday is no longer the one-day sale it once was.

Coscline learned today that Walmart is preparing its third annual “Black Friday Sale” sale, which will start on Walmart.com every Monday in November, and will also offer discounts offline, starting on November 7. continued until the 28th.

Like last year, Walmart+ paying members will have a seven-hour window of early access to three online Black Friday sales ahead of other customers.

Last year, though, Walmart’s weekly event had its own specific discounts. For example, the first weekend can be dedicated to toys, electronics, and home products, while the second weekend is other categories. Walmart gave no details this year, but pledged to offer shoppers bigger deals on electronics, home furnishings, toys and clothing, including top brands like Apple, Dyson and Lego.

In response, Walmart executive vice president and chief marketing officer Charles Redfiel pointed out that Walmart is confident in helping consumers find the best Christmas gifts and offering incredible discounts.

Coscline understands that in addition to announcing the event schedule in advance, Walmart is preparing for the shopping season in other ways. Last month, the retailer said it plans to hire an additional 40,000 employees over the holiday season, and it will also offer shoppers a hassle-free return option, extending returns until January.
