How can we provide UPS with complete picture details if the goods are damaged in the process of UPS service transportation? Provide the necessary product commercial invoice and packing list, and provide the actual cargo information of which products?
If the shipment appears damaged when received or to be missing contents, please attach the following 4 types of photos:
The external packaging (a photo of the affected outside boxor other packaging).
Photos should show packaging type,box strength / quality taping and labelsPhotos of damaged packaging in the condition in which it help adjusters determine possible cause and theextent of the damage. Photos taken prior to unboxing mayhelp prove concealed damage.
The internal packaging materials.
Inadequate cushioning canbe another cause of damage. Photos should show packagingand other materials used for cushioning the goods.
The merchandise (if available).
Noting the damage to yourgoods in your photo, if not readily apparent, helps the adjustervisually see the damaged area of the item. A few minutesspent documenting the damage, including drawing attentionto damage that may not be obvious, may save hours of timein back and forth communication.
How many working days does the claim process take?
The processing time of the claim process takes 8-15 working days on average. UPS has confirmed the claim and provided the payment document, which usually takes 3-5 days to process.
